"Somos melhores juntos!" Brazilian rock group Picanha de Chernobill is Matheus Mendes (vocals and bass), Chico Rigo (guitar and vocals) and Fernando Salsa (drums). The band was formed in 2008 in Porto Alegre. It's influences range from The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Cátia França, Brazilian Music, Blues and Folk. In 2009 released the debut album "Picanha de Chernobill" In 2010, the group participated in a festival and was awarded with the recording of an album. In 2011, released "O Velho e o Bar" The band moved to the city of São Paulo in 2012 and started playing on the streets. Since then, Picanha de Chernobill has already done more than 1000 free concerts. In 2016, participated in a crowdfunding campaign for the recording of its third record O Conto, A Selva e O Fim. In 2017 presented several concerts to promote the album and on September 17th, performed at Rock in Rio Festival. In November, boarded to their first International tour, performing in Netherlands, France, Belgium and Germany. In June 2018, boarded for the second European tour. In 2019 Picanha released Sobrevive and performed more than 20 concerts in Europe, including one in Paris at the Place du Trocadéro;.
